| Collection Information: | Random urine, no preservative. Excessively bloody or turbid specimens can inhibit the function of the test. | ||
| Transport Information: | Deliver to lab immediately. All specimens must be signed into the laboratory. | ||
| Reference Clients: | If unable to deliver to lab immediately, store and transport at 2-8° C. Original specimen must be received in lab within 24 hours. | ||
| Causes for Rejection: | Improperly labeled, incorrect container, contaminated, insufficient quantity, improper/delay in transport. Specimens with dyes or unnatural color are not acceptable. | ||
